The Duo Hicham benslimane and Majida Housni will be the first designers with Arab origins to open a shop on Rodeo Drive. Their first collection, which will be a unique concept in its genre will include both couture and ready to wear fashion items making it the perfect go-to place for there A-listers.
BEVERLY HILLS, Calif., April 06, 2017 — It is evident how all eyes are on the Middle East not only politically but also fashionably. Every good observer of fashion would have noticed the fuzz that the Arab fashion designers are creating in any of the international fashion weeks. Besides them have becoming beautiful targets for the fashion and street style photographers, their sense of style is sincerely unique. The Arabian fashion designers know who to dress up, how to style and showcase luxury at its finest . they have more of a sophisticated and luxurious taste compared to others who are more concerned about a simpler practical outfit.
With a burning desire to bring the intriguing Arabian fashion styles to the Western world, Royal Legacy, an international fashion house established by Hicham Benslimane and Majida Housni will debut its elegant collections in May 2017, on the world famous Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills. Their first collection, which will be a unique concept in its genre will include both couture and ready to wear fashion items making it the perfect go-to place for there A-listers.
“The Arab style is one which has existed for hundreds of years ago, Hicham and Majida explained. Its designs represent the earlier ideologies even before religions had existed or developed, and we are keen on making everyone, including celebrities to crave for our mysterious, stylish Arabian style.”
Hicham and Majida met while taking couture classes in the capital of fashion in Paris, and they issued separate invoices for their jobs even when they accomplished a project together. Starting his marvelous works in Paris before moving to Miami, and later settling in Los Angeles, Hicham has dressed many big names in the A–list and has garnered over seven years of experience in the fashion industry. Meanwhile, Majida, who is a successful businesswoman converted to a fashion adviser and brand connoisseur based in Dubai.
After several years of vast experience in the fashion industry both in Dubai and Los Angeles, Hicham and Majida decided to settle in Beverly Hills, making the city the home of their couture line. They now file a single invoice under there new brand ¾ Royal Legacy. One of the designs from their first collection, which is the world known “caftan,” is perhaps the hors d’oeuvre of their creations. Great passion drives the duo who draws inspiration, invent and inspire others.
